Exceptionally high (13 m/43 ft) English-style mill situated near the river in LaSalle. Explanation of the operation of the mill and socio-economic conditions in the 19th century. (30 min)

[32] The Fur Trade at Lachine National Historic Site
Interpretation center and exhibit on the fur trade and way of life of the coureurs de bois (fur traders).

Canal dating from 1825, now bordered by a park and a 12-km (7.5 mi)bicycle path that links the Vieux-Port to Lac Saint-Louis. Visitor reception center in Lachine.

Natural 375-hectare (925 acres) park, ecosystem interpretation centers. Ecological farm. Beach. Hiking trails.

Locks built in 1840. Promenade, outdoor cafés and boutiques.
